Andrew Yap is a mold remediation and disinfection specialist with 14 years of experience in pest control, disinfection and environmental services. His expertise has been shaped by a passion for finding practical, innovative solutions to tackle mold and indoor-environment challenges.
What began as an exploration into better remediation solutions eventually grew into a specialist business. Lumiair, together with Pestoff, was later acquired by Anticimex, bringing Andrew’s hands-on expertise, technical knowledge and entrepreneurial mindset into the Group.
Today, Andrew leads the environmental solution business as a General Manager at Anticimex Singapore, where he oversees Lumiair operations, including sales, training and scheduling, while personally managing complex commercial cases. He also supports the wider Anticimex team by sharing his practical knowledge and experience in mold remediation and disinfection.

One particularly challenging project involved a national landmark where extensive mold developed as a result of environmental conditions including air leakage and high humidity when the facility was not in use. The project required a comprehensive remediation program covering the affected areas, air-conditioning systems, furnishings and other surfaces.
